EnableComp is a Complex Claims Solutions company that often came to us at The Print Authority for invitation designs, three of which are presented here.
EnableComp often collaborates with Folds of Honor to give scholarships to the families of soldiers. The first of these cards allowed you to win an MLB baseball if you visited the booth, and a scholarship would be given to someone in an area of your choosing. Your chances were increased if you brought the flag that was mailed with the postcard
Later for a similar event, we were asked to make a postcard that would be mailed with keys. The postcard needed to be themed around buried treasure. Excited to play with that, I found images of old parchment, maps, and treasure to collage together. Using pages, I could create text boxes from the folds in parchment or from stacking loose sheets to guide attention or to group sections together
EnableComp is inviting some potential clients to watch the NFL Divisional Playoffs at a cabana and pool in Las Vegas. As such, I was asked to design a digital invite for them to mail out. Previously, they had invites with a beach theme or using pool imagery. I decided that for the invite I was making, I wanted to combine the sport and the location.
It was surprisingly difficult to find an image of a football hitting water. When I found one, it was the image I wanted on a solid black background. To create the image in the bottom quarter, I needed to remove the background, brighten up the mid-tones in the water, tint the football blue, and put it over another image of a pool floor.
