For many years, the Print Authority donated its services to the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence. While there, I was given the opportunity to design postcards, envelopes and program books

The first collateral I designed was for their 2019 Annual Conference. Using the theme “Bridge the Gap” as an inspiration, I came up with the idea of a tree branching out to make a pathway over a precipice, and I illustrated it using simple lines and abstract shapes to avoid taking attention from the content. This theme was continued inside the book while keeping with the brand’s colors and fonts.

Later that year, I was also asked to design the mailing collateral for their Pearls and Pinstripes Gala. With the requirement that the Nashville skyline needed to be present in the card, I filled the background with pinstripes and had pearls raining down in the foreground with the skyline reflected in them. This was later reduced to just the front-most pearl for the sake of making the card less busy

These design elements were carried over to the envelopes and RSVPs

During 2020, the Gala went virtual. As such, the postcard designed that year featured the Nashville skyline in brand colors through a window while the inside is in the refined black and white tones of their previous Gala collateral
